Synopsis

He makes the rules . . .

Mafiya enforcer Aleksandr "The Siberian" Sevastyan’s loyalty to his boss is unwavering, until he meets the boss’s long-lost daughter, a curvy, tantalizing redhead who haunts his mind and heats his blood like no other. Ordered to protect her, Sevastyan will do anything to possess her as well—on his own wicked terms.

PhD student Natalie Porter had barely recovered from her first sight of the breathtakingly gorgeous Sevastyan before the professional hit man whisks her away to Russia, thrusting her into a world of extreme wealth and wanton pleasures. With every day she spends under his protection, she falls deeper under his masterful spell.

Are you ready to play?
Yet all is not as it seems. To remove Natalie from an enemy’s reach, Sevastyan spirits her into hiding. From an opulent palace in Russia to the decadent playgrounds of the mega-wealthy in Paris, the two lovers will discover that even their darkest—and most forbidden—fantasies can come true…

My Thoughts
When I first heard KC was going to write erotica, I didn't think she could write anything hotter than her IAD books, but boy was I wrong.  The steam factor was off the charts HOT!

Overall, I loved the it.  Natalie was a breath of fresh air.  She's a virgin, but in no way is she innocent or shy about her sexuality.  She's witty, outspoken and had some great laugh out loud moments.  Some folks might be turned off by Sevastyan's hot/cold attitude towards Natalie, but I find that even more attractive about him.  Not that I needed more encouragement.  I mean, let's face it, Sevastyan's downright H.O.T.  Torn between the loyalty and duty he feels for the man who raised him like his own and the deep, dark desires he feels for Nat, it's no wonder he's constructed a wall.

I'm looking forward to reading Part 2.  I'm intrigued by Filip.  Something tells me he's not bad, just caught up in some bad business that he's keeping secret from his Uncle.  Speaking of which, I love the development of Nat's relationship with her father and look forward to reading more on that.

Final Thoughts
I highly recommend this book. 5 Stars.  My only complaint is having to wait for Parts 2 and 3, but all three parts are released a few weeks apart, so it's not too bad.
